Join HE Zayed Alzayani, Minister of Industry, Commerce & Tourism and Mr. Tom Donohue, President & CEO, U.S. Chamber of Commerce for a discussion on the U.S. - Bahrain trade relationship. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s President & CEO Mr. Tom J. Donohue will be traveling to Bahrain on September 9, as a follow-up to H.R.H. the Crown Prince of Bahrain’s visit to Washington in November 2018, which saw more than $5 billion in commercial deals signed at the Chamber between U.S. and Bahraini companies. The goal of the visit is to reinforce these strong U.S.-Bahrain commercial bonds and encourage companies to explore future partnerships and opportunities in sectors such as oil & gas, ICT, financial services, logistics, tourism, manufacturing, and real estate. Bahrain’s business-friendly policy environment is a key differentiator in the region, and the Chamber encourages Bahrain’s continued policy innovation, especially in the digital economy. Tom Donohue has grown the US Chamber into the world’s largest business association representing more than 3 million companies and associations from all sectors. Revenues have grown from $3M/year to over $30M/year. Under Tom’s leadership the Chamber has become the most influential voice for business in the United States. Mr. Donohue will share perspectives from Washington about the U.S. Administration’s approach to international trade, and how the U.S. Chamber and U.S. business community are responding to encourage business and growth-friendly policies with our allies, such as Bahrain. Venue: Capital Club Bahrain
